We’re so happy

Our philosophy believes in caring for the “whole person!”

Spirit. Soul. Body.

Although our incredible body was formed with much complexity, the tiniest of materials, called micronutrients, are the substances that are needed to run the most complicated pathways to optimize health and sustain life. There are no deficiencies our body needs that come from a little brown bottle or the juice from the end of a needle. Instead, our body needs micronutrients to run optimally. For this very reason, we feel an approach centered in a personalized fashion is the most advantageous to prevention and recovery. This does not mean we are against all medications because we aren’t. Insulin for the Type 1 Diabetic is needed. Penicillin may be needed if there is a severe infection; however, unnecessary drugs and polypharmacy do not align with our values and beliefs.

Our Values

As a faith-based, veteran-owned company we believe everyone should be treated with the respect, love, and care they deserve. We know that no one goes into using drugs desiring to become an addict. We also know that mental/emotional struggles are not their fault, nor does anyone wish to live in the bondage of either one. For those who struggle with various physical and cognitive problems, there are underlying root causes that are not being considered. No one wants a sick body. However, in our current healthcare system the “body-system” approach is neglected, and the single-body organ approach that is taught in med-school is often why root causes are never considered or discovered. We do not believe being unwell is your destiny. We believe your body should thrive and be well all the way to the end of life. In addition, we are great listeners and truly care about your story. So many answers to our physical, mental, and emotional health and addiction struggles are intertwined into our life stories.

Clinic Overview

Turning Tides with Dr. Hutch is a family & Veteran owned whole body wellness sanctuary that focuses on investigating root causes to uncover potential risk factors that may be driving one’s chronic health concerns. We use evidence-based natural modalities to help the body’s innate ability to heal itself when given the proper substances. We understand that taking a whole-body approach utilizing the appropriate nutrition, lifestyle, and environmental factors is the key to restoring health, as our cells are working infinitely to bring us back to a state of homeostasis naturally. This is best accomplished with the God-given supply of endless natural materials from the beginning of time.

It’s also important to know that a functional medicine approach considers the entire body systems centered in a personalized approach. It is not a singular approach; it also requires each client to partake fully in their healing and recovery process. We highly encourage the clients’ support system to participate in live and virtual appointments (not required, but it is easier for those supporting you to understand the process fully). In addition, turning Tides provides online and in-person services by highly trained individuals equipped to help guide and fully participate in your whole-body restoration needs.
